Glossybox April 2012 - Earth Day Box!

This is this months Glossybox and i have to say i'm really happy with almost everything! There was only one item that i can't seem myself using. So here we go!

So that's the complete contents, it's apretty full box this month with 3 full sized products. Everything is organic or natural in some fashion to celebrate Earth Day.

Figs and Rouge Lip Balm

I've been looking at these products for ages so i'm very pleased to get a full sized product of this to be able to try it out. This smells lovely, mostly of vanilla with a bit of a menthol scent too, not very much evidence of cherry. It feels a little gritty but smooths out very well on the lips.

Burt's Bees Body lotion - Naturally Nourishing Milk and Honey

One of my favourite brands, i love their lipbalms so i can't wait to try this moisturiser out as well. I tried a little on the back of my hand it smells lovely, really sweet. It has a good thick consistency and sinks in really well. I can't wait to try this out on my dry knees! This product is not full sized.

Caudalie vinosource - SOS quenching serum

This is a little sample of serum that definitely looks interesting and is something i will try out. I tested a little on my hand and it smells nice, nothing too strong. It is quite runny in texture but then it is a serum not a cream.

Monu - Moisture rich collagen cream

Another cream, this time for the face. I've tried a little on the back of my hand and it does have a strong scent, very flowery possibly lavender or geranium i'm not sure. This is the second full sized product in the box.

Inika eye liner - 12 Purple Minx

Sorry about the rubbish picture but apparently my phone dislikes eyeliners as much as i do! This is the third full sized product but not something i would choose to use so will probably be passed on.

Overall i did like most of this box and i can see myself using it.

I'm currently working on the ripple design from attic24. It's going to join my other granny ripple blanket.

This stuff is really tasty, and only 151 calories per tub! Definitely worth purchasing while it's £1 in Tesco. I have to say the brownie pieces are not what I'd call chunks, more like crumbled. But it was still really tasty. I especially loved the chocolate stars on the top ... very cute, and taste.

Cosmetofruit

Has anyone else tried this stuff? I'm pretty sure it must be doing me good, it tastes pretty vile. It seems to make my tongue taste like fur for a few minutes after drinking it!

Week at home

I've been reading some fabulous blogs recently which have made me think i should probably try to write in mine a little more often. I'm especially liking Attic24 for help with my crochet and generally cheering me up regularly :)

Today i've been off work and i've been highly productive. Don't you always find that when you're off work the first few days you get loads done, then it all goes by-the-by and you get lazier and lazier? Anyway, i've managed to get most of the clothes washing done, i finished two of the books from the pile of half-finished books by my bed (Unseen Academicals & Which Witch), plus i've had another go at finishing my current scarf project.

I'm going to try to get some pictures taken of the things i've been up to with my knitting and crocheting once i've got my camera to be friends with me again.

Graze box number 2

This is my second graze box, this time filled with cherries, mixed nuts & fruit, plus some delicious Barbeque almonds (lush).

Graze box number one

This was my first ever graze.com box and i have to say i loved it. The pineapple was really juicy and fresh, all the nuts were lovely and sweet, plus i discovered i really love cashews!










Each box comes with a little label telling you all about the things inside the box.












See the lovely pineapple and nut mixes, all very healthy!
